We are thrilled to announce that Cecil Balmond has been chosen to create a new art piece for Chicago’s Wilson station! The Chicago Transit Authority has announced a reconstruction of the station which will include artwork by Cecil.

This latest work cements Cecil’s relationship with the city of Chicago, which has long been a global centre for modern art, architecture, and design. In September 2008, Cecil unveiled a series of site specific installations at the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in Fine Arts for his show, Solid Void. H_Edge,Danzer,and a multimedia room of light boxes were exhibited through June 2009.
