Focusing on vernacular design, the architecture utilises traditional techniques and materials like illuk (paddy thatch) for the roof and woven cadjan (palm leaves) for the walls. Drawing inspiration from the natural movement of waves and contours of the land, structures take a natural curvilinear shape. Modern design integrates with cultural and natural elements to give visitors a truly immersive experience. First of its kind on the East Coast, Jetwing Surf highlights the potential of sustainable and traditional design in a modern boutique resort.
